Is at hand a accurate webcam out here , that will run next to window vista lacking downloading stuff from the trellis?

i have windows xp and my outdated cam worked just fine in attendance but will not work with window vista, tried to download a patch but my computer shuts down when i try to use the cam

Basically not yet. All the cameras right in a minute, even the ones that say vista compatible, require you to download some liberal of patch off the microsoft's website. They have a lot of cams already made so instead of a call-back they only just made a patch for everything.
