My computer will not agree to me install a flash player, whats wrong?

You man not be a local administrator on your contraption. (aka Power user if using Vista). Check that you have the appropriate permissions contained by the User Accounts section of the control panel.
Assuming you own administrative access:



Download and run the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller.

then install

If it's a shared computer and you are not the administrator, the problem may be that you do not own the required privileges.
