My SD card say it can't be formatted?

Hello, I bought an SD card for wii (2.0 gb) I needed to use it for a camera or a palm pilot, but it says it can't be formatted? What does it tight and how can I format it if possible? Thanks ^.^

My SD card say it can't be formatted?

Take the SD card out, move the 'lock' tab to the unlock position and put it vertebrae in.
Make sure that little tab is not within LOCK position

Beyond that, some SD cards these days come beside a DRM (digital rights management) file already on the card. Some companies do this b/c they intend the SD card to be used beside some media device they also vend.

Plug in the card, and overt it (it will be labeled a Removable Drive or Removable Disk depending on your PC, and will be assigned a letter designation a moment ago like adjectives of your other plug-ins and drives. Upon opening directory delete all record folders you see. There should only be one or two. Be sure you own the right drive selected! If you are unsure, verbs it while you have the drive interested, if it all go blank then you're doing fine. If it say Disk is Write Protected, your card is still locked. Unlock, and proceed.

Good luck..secure digital is my preferred milieu as well.
