ok if u using xp and in attendance was nouns before later go to control panel sounds option have a look if its on mute? if yes next remove tik or turn the volum up
if still u dont have the nouns then click properties where on earth is sound control and turn adjectives of them UP wave cd master and so on and so on...
That happen to me when i installed vista.
