NERO 7 Help?

I want to burn a cd but whenever i choose my drive where on earth my cd is, it seems close to its recording but when i play it it say its blank.Also i never hear the driver burning the cd. How can this be fixed



Additional info: CD self used CD-R

Driver:SONY CDRWDVD CRX310S

I've had like mad of problems with Nero7 some of which I manage to sort out but others were irregular failures to burn correctly. I own gone back to using Nero 6.
