NFS CARBON problem?

i own a core 2 duo e6600 2.40 ghz

and a 512mb video card

but still when i put the resolution to 1280x1024

it slows a bit...what's the problem??

NFS CARBON problem?

get a clear on your graphic card and everything will decline into place.

Your computer will become as fast as the cars you see on NFS.
How much Ram do you possess? Too less as contained by 512-1gb might be a problem.Playing at such resolutions is indeed a pain on the system,if you still want to play at such resolutions next i suggest you decrease a few of the Anti-aliasing and a few of the iota effects.

Try and get 2gb DDR2 run into if you can afford it.
Memory has incredibly little to do with it, and CPU speed have even less to do next to it unless you have a really low end graphics card.

The GPU (aka. the brain of your graphics card) have to do about like peas in a pod amount of work for each pixel, so when you increase the resolution you increase the number of pixels and the GPU take longer to paint the screen because it's fine art more pixels and doing more work.
