I checked mouse and grand piano they but not on this computer any way to extract the files sour the computer?

Make sure the keyboard and mouse are plugged into the computer. If they are, restart your computer and it should work. If you are using a wireless the ivories and mouse set, check your batteries and try pressing the reset button found at the groundwork of the wireless receiver. If that still doesn't fix the problem, the solely thing I can cogitate of is to physically remove the hard drive from that computer, and install it as a slave (auxiliary) tricky drive on another working computer to extract your files.
