it is connected to the usb port but not working any suggestion

Make sure the camera and your computer are both duplicate USB type. If your computer is old adequate, it may be USB1 while your camera is USB2. You can add an USB2 PCI adapter to update your computer.
Did you install the software that come with your camera? The software disc contains all the drivers indispensable to operate your camera.
If you do not have any software, you can spread out your control panel and select ADD NEW DEVICE; or go to the camera manufacturer's network site.
