THE disc IS GREEN AND SAYS OPERATING SYSTEM ON THE TOP OF THE CD AND RIGHT BELOW THAT IT SAYS Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Is this the right loving of Windows XP cd so that i can bring back to the Windows XP Recovery Console?
Only if it is the edition of Windows presently installed on your PC.
Also take into consideration whether OEM or retail.

All I know is that Windows XP Service Pack 2 was released to fix several bugs contained by the windows operating system, short it - your computer is essentially defenseless against many problems.
Yes
Yes it is, when you reboot to the cd should you should be prompted beside a list of differ rent boot option. Alternatively you can press the F5, F6, F8 & F9 keys which will do different things depending on the PC type.
Good Luck
The color doesn't nouns correct. Most all Windows installation disc labels are a hologram. What you own sounds like a Recovery compact disc. You probably own a name brand computer, and to be exact the disk that you would use to do a fresh install of your operating system and what ever programs came near your system.
If you just want to run the Recovery Console, any XP installation disc will work. It doesn't have to be yours. You are not installing XP, a moment ago using the disk to open the Console.
