How much faster is ddr2 800 compared to ddr2 667?Btw i am into gaming ... i play games,download music,video etc.Is it worth the extra 40$?
Is it worth the extra 40$ to obtain 2gb ddr2 800 Kingston over the 2gb ddr2 667 Kingston?
If your motherboard will support the DDR2 800 you will notice a small difference within performance. However you may be better sour just investing within a higher aspect brand of memory such as Corsair. There is a significant performance difference between Memory Brands and if you spend a short time more you can significantly improve your operation.
In most causes you cannot interchange them, you call for o only find the one designed for your motherboard
It depends on your motherboard speed. If it runs the higher speed procure the faster ramm. If it doesn't, the ramm will throttle down to the lower rate and youve just wated your money
If you interested surrounded by gaming .I think it is better to user 800 one
very well either means of access you REALLY wouldnt tell the differances contained by the two speeds of the sticks of RAM
The performance difference could be significant within an AMD AM2 set up but hardly on an Intel set up. DDR2 667's lower latency somehow compensates for its lower speed.
The $40 expense could be worth it if you are an overclocker.
