we're trying to convert files to CD, and we read that if you vacate your modem hooked up, there will be a setting buzz in the record. Is it ok to unplug the modem from the wall or the computer or both after turning it off? Will this variety it hard to reconnect when we requirement the internet again? I thought we were told that the modem should other be plugged in, but conceivably I am wrong...thanks for the relief.
Is it ok to unplug you modem completely?
I think it would be ok. Just enjoy to wait for the modem to reboot. Try a preview recording to see if you do enjoy noise. If so, try a AC stripe filter or isolator.
It depends on your sound card. If you use PolderBits to dictation, background swish will not be heard surrounded by your recording. And unplugging your modem will trade name no difference. If there's any interference, it's likely because of your monitor.
