How much MB does this video card hold , because i am thinking of getting a dell desktop with a video card of give or take a few 256 mb with a video accelerator and i be wondering would that be enough to run most games up to date ?

I've be using the Zoom PCI Cable Modem (model 5001) for several years now. I lately did a mjor upgrade of my computer including Vista. Unfortunately, the manufacturer individual has drivers up to WinXP, and one and only as an .exe file. What I want are the .inf driver files contained in the .exe. When the .exe unpacks, it creates files call data1.cab and data2.hackney carriage. However, I can't look into these files with WinZip or WinRar. Please facilitate me with this as the factory owner (Zoom) won't. Thanks.

I downloaded and installed Ventrilo 2.3, I can log on and listen to others communicate and sometimes they canhear me. i bought an external dvd rw plugged it into my workstation and got the message (this usb device can act faster if you connect it to a high speed usb port.) when i checked it out it said within are no high speed usb controllers on this computer. i bought a usb 2.0 pci host card put it within the pc but i'm still getting like peas in a pod message. what am i doing wrong.

I would think that you requirement to install the drivers for your PCI USB 2.0 card.
I see from your additional information that you didn't win a driver disk with your purchase. Do a dig out for the manufacturer of your USB card and see if they hold drivers for you to download. You may also need to install Service Pack 2 for your Windows XP installation. Microsoft updated USB 2.0 support when they brought that Service Pack out.

Why don't you connect with the Ethernet line and access the router online configuration page (http://192.168.0.1) - then remove the encryption (wep etc) and start over again - it shouldn't rob more than a few minutes to reconfigure you wireless system for a stand alone pc.

Set wireless card to connect to your SSID name and unless the section is faulty adjectives should be well. You could also use window zero configuration utility to try to repair your nouns although this was usless for my computer.

Well, I merely got this contemporary set of Logitech speakers a couple of days ago. They worked fine, but then I started uninstalling some programs today. I restarted my computer to finalize adjectives the uninstallations, then I open up Windows Media Player, and it didn't play ANY of my songs. Oh! you've messed up with your nouns card driver. If u have win xp try to roll wager on to the old driver. goto control panel, d click on system > hardware> device bureaucrat. there check the nouns devices. d click and goto driver tab and click roll back driver.

What is your operating system? Obviously it's Windows, ha ha ha! I didn't mean to screech, but you need to make a contribution more info about your computer specs so we can back you.
ok um, its not too hard to do. at hand are 2 ways to do that
1st way is the easiest, check the CD's that come with your computer, they should own a sound driver compact disc or one CD beside all the drivers surrounded by it. Install that and it should work fine
2nd way, if you lost adjectives those CD's, you can find the sound driver online, but you must know what sensitive of sound card you hold, which is hard to report. but if you know, you can download the driver that way.
Go to the start menu and look for your control panel. Open that up and look for sounds and audio devices. Open that up first and gross sure the speakers aren't muted and the box for place volume icon surrounded by task shaft is clicked.

What is your operating system? Obviously it's Windows, ha ha ha! I didn't mean to screech, but you need to make a contribution more info about your computer specs so we can back you.
ok um, its not too hard to do. at hand are 2 ways to do that
1st way is the easiest, check the CD's that come with your computer, they should own a sound driver compact disc or one CD beside all the drivers surrounded by it. Install that and it should work fine
2nd way, if you lost adjectives those CD's, you can find the sound driver online, but you must know what sensitive of sound card you hold, which is hard to report. but if you know, you can download the driver that way.
Go to the start menu and look for your control panel. Open that up and look for sounds and audio devices. Open that up first and gross sure the speakers aren't muted and the box for place volume icon surrounded by task shaft is clicked.

I do matching thing next to my Samsung A870 phone and prior to installing the Samsung driver, Microsoft Windows would report unknown cdma device. I was competent to get most of the information for my phone via http://www.bitpim.org but I didn't see your phone nominated as one they support. You may just own to search around the net a bit to see if anyone else has worked out the problem.

check your security settings. probably they block it.
i have similar experience in the past. my laptop can recognize my usb but didn't spot my portable harddisk. I found out that my security settings block other things except my usb.

however if you trust the disk or software just disable the anti-virus and install the software/disk
one a.v.p(anti-virus program)that this occur quite habitually to is avast anti virus free edition
if this happens too regularly then you may consider about shifting your a.v.p to another one,as this can become a real bind after a while
also when you install graphic card driver(such as nvidia forceware drivers)its recommended to disable this while installing the driver,as i found out,breakdown to do this can cause errors next to your display drivers

If it's not booting at all and another video card works fine. Possible issue beside the card. The virus that erased video bios chips was a bit weak, little rare. If you own a anti-virus program, it would have caught it. If you believe it is/was a virus, you could try to generate a bootable floppy, and install on it the bios update for the card, then allow it to boot up next to the floppy and try to update. Typically there are instructions on how to do this from the architect of the video card.

Ok, on my elder Windows XP, the volume was fine, and it be loud enough, but immediately, on this newer computer, the volume for the mic is too quiet. I hold to almost scream to bring myself heard, and I know for a reality that everything works. My speakers are fine, I've checked the whole Volume Control, I've made sure it's connected, and I even did the 20db Boost entity that many ethnic group suggest! The microphone has a manly jack, like the ones you hold with telephone. The plug is in the front of the computer, and my elder pc's input was contained by the back, approaching many computers.If you can report to me how to make the volume louder, please update me! I installed some extra memory surrounded by an old compaq and on startup single 16.71mg of 160.00 mg is showing available for physical memory. I cannot find updates for this model anywhere. Right-click the speaker god in the right-hand corner of the peak, then click Open Volume Control, label sure all the mute checkboxes are unchecked, afterwards make sure adjectives the volume sliders are set high ample, then if there's still a problem, move about into Options -> Properties then click the Playback radio button and fashion sure all the checkboxes at the bottom (except microphone) are checked, if any are not checked next check them and click OK, then surrounded by volume control make sure nothings muted or set too low again.
If that doesn't work, right-click the flash animation that doesn't play nouns go into the flash settings and fashion sure it isn't muted or set too low.

My extrenal rugged drive suddenly won't show as a drive memo on My Computer. Any thinking why and what to do?
It's a 160GB Westren Digital drive that have always workd OK contained by the past. It's used for back-ups. Now when I turn it on the computer recognises it (arrow at bottom of screen) but the drive doesn't appear surrounded by My Computer, so i can't drop files into it. Any ideas? Thanks.

also check the capacitors - they look similar to a small black battery next to a silver top and an x engraved at the top. See if they are bulging or leaking. The gx 270's have problems with this that give all kind of weird error messages. If they are bulging or leak sorry to say but the motherboard is toast.
Open up the panel and create sure the cooling fan is running. If not, you have need of a new one.

if still u dont have the nouns then click properties where on earth is sound control and turn adjectives of them UP wave cd master and so on and so on...

My trial flashdrive doesnt even respond?? its latest!?
its a rundisk 2.0 256mb and im running xp

Could be you call for a driver for it (though XP has various USB flash drive drivers included). Visit the manufacturer's web site and look for downloads. BTW, some flash drives enjoy a _tiny_ write protect switch; be sure the drive is not protected. You might also unplug all other USB devices; it is unlikely but possible in attendance is a conflict, or the power draw on the bus is excessive.
It's possible that its broken. If it has warranty, turn it contained by for a new one.

MTP Device?
My computer keep comming up with for a time yellow sign surrounded by the corner that says FOUND NEW HARDWARE: MTP device but. I havn't plugged anything contained by and It keeps comming up. I dont even know what an MTP device is. How do I catch rid of the sign ?

Then on the Taskbar menu hit Customize That will show you the current items in your taskbar. You should own one that says <no title> - specifically the MTP Device. Click on the Hide when inactive and change it to Always hide.

my pc is pentium 4(2.0GHz),
256MB of RAM,
Has DirectX9,
and 80GB of Hardisk..

It will run next to all settings on low (looking resembling crap) and you still wont get clad frame rates.
I had that exact card several years ago and I could scarcely play NFSU with adjectives game and card settings on the floor.
Those who voice that card will run those games flawlessly don't have a clue what their discussion about.

Of course,in certainty NFS UG2 runs on my PC which has NVIDIA GeForce MX 4000 next to 64 MB memory n 256 MB RAM

MSI GeForce FX5200 support games like Condition Zero and NfS underground. this is a powerful low-end card offer good actions at reasonable price. As Condition Zero requires lone 32mb and NfS underground 2 requires 64mb video RAM so u can play these games quite comfertably.
It is a slow and outdated card. You can enjoy better game see with the ATI 9550 or the 9600 Pro.
